I believe that optimal learning occurs when children are actively involved (physically and cognitively) in experiences that are age appropriate and relevant to their lives. I believe in providing a caring and supportive environment where children can express their thoughts and beliefs. The children can test those beliefs in secure surroundings and make sense of the world in which they live, in terms they can understand. I will not only be a facilitator but also collaborator as we explore the world with the children. I will use every available resource to take them beyond the confines of the classroom and into the wonder of the world around them.
